Abit about our future home

We bought a 1900sqm block of land in Greta early this year. It doesn't have town water or sewer connected, so we have to get a septic system and we have to be on tank water. Lucky for us our block came with two 22,500L tanks on it.

We decided to build with Allworth Homes and have picked the Sonata 13, 4 Bed Media/Alfresco. It is one of their promotion homes.

This is our floor plan. We havn't upgraded much because we are on a tight budget. We have changed it to have carpet in the bedrooms and media room only and tiles for the rest. I also changed the kitchen splash back to be tiled to the bottom of the hanging cupboards.

My colour selection's are
Kitchen: I have copied the colours in one of the Sebring display homes.
Benchtops Charcoal Fabrini in a Matt finish
Splashback: Gunmetal Grey gloss tiles
Doors: Stone Grey in a sheen finish
Bricks:
either PGH Sand or Austral Bricks Engage
Roof: Colourbond Monument
Window Frames: Ultra Black
Garage Door: Monument
Main Bathroom
Vanity Doors: Smoke melange
Floor Tile: Laguna Lava
Wall Tile: Gloss White
Ensuite:
Vanity Doors: Licorice Linea
Floor Tile: Laguna Lava
Wall Tile: Gloss White
Main Floor Tile: Minima Black (I would of liked something abit lighter but I wasnt aloud to upgrade anything)
Laundry:
Floor Tile: Laguna Ash
Paint Colours:
Bathrooms/Laundry: Polar Bear - I didnt have to pay extra for this colour because the rooms are small.
Rest of the house: Flokati
I will be painting my own feature walls after handover
Carpet: Charcoal 16

These are the same colours I chose for my kitchen. It is one of Allworths display homes. Its called the Sebring.

  1. Hi Tina, good to see you've finally been approved. When you say you changed the tiled splash back to go to the bottom of the over head cupboards what was the standard before you changed it? We are also building the sonata.
