Gyproc

There was 2 guys there monday working away. They didnt leave till after 5. The got basically all the house done. Just afew small bits to do. I think they also ran out of gyproc. I couldnt see any left over. They were there again on tuesday. I called in around lunch time to chat to them quickly. They are from the central coast, i told them they better try head home with all the road closures. Hopefully they made it home.

I will go over later today to see if they have returned. I couldnt get photos, it was dark when i had a look.

Not much progress

Since easter not much has happened. They have installed the down pipes, there has been a site clean. Then nothing happened for over a week. I called wayne on wednesday to find out whats going on. There has been a delay with the gyproc guys. They had  two 2 story house to do on the central coast.
I went to the house yesterday to sort out stuff for the fence, and i notice the electrician had been back and all the gyproc has been delivered ready for them to start it on monday.  I should get a better idea of when my house will be finished when the gyproc is completed.

Update from Friday 27th

They are just about finished, only have a few small things to do. They will be back on Tuesday to finish it. They have to go start another house on monday.

Looking at the alfresco area, we are thinking about putting a deck there instead of cement.

Bricks have started

On friday (13th) the bricks were started. They got two course's around the whole house done. Unfortunatly it started raining so they were gone by 11. Hopefully monday will be a nice day and they get alot more done.

The roof is done 26/2

Our roof was started on the 25th and they finished it on the 26th.

I got a call from Wayne today asking me to pick a different brick because the ones I chose are unavailable for afew weeks. He suggested we go with Austral Leisure, its slightly darker then engage. So thats what we are getting. He said hopefully it will start on thursday or friday.

Frames are done

The frames & windows were delivered on Friday 13th. I went to the block on Monday expecting them to be started. Annoyingly they hadn't. On Thursday they finally started the framework. I got a call late Thursday arvo saying they were completed. When I went over it wasn't quite finished. The guys where there again today and finished them off. The windows are in except for the garage one, and the glass doors going to the alfresco are in as well.

Our slab got done on Wednesday. It was good timing because Thursday was a miserable day.

The plumbing got done on Monday

This is only some of the rubbish they had laying around. I emailed Bernie and left the photo on Allworth's facebook page. The next day I had a 'bin' that was just a piece of mesh with 4 pegs holding it up in the shape of a square. They tided up most of the rubbish.
